Dr. 乔纳森Kuiken received his doctorate in Modern British history from Boston College in 2013, where he also served as a postdoctoral and teaching fellow. 自从加入 2014年澳门赌场在线娱乐学院的教职员工. Kuiken has taught courses in European and global history, focusing on themes of geopolitics, economics, energy, and the trade of commodities 和想法. These teaching themes also inform his scholarship which currently concentrates on the completion of his manuscript titled Empires of 能源: 英国, British Petroleum, Shell and the remaking of the international 石油工业，1957-1983.
Dr. 乔纳森Kuiken is specialist in the history of the British Empire and energy history, focusing on the development of the international oil industry, receiving 他的Ph值.D. 波士顿学院历史系毕业. He teaches global history courses as well as a unique “能源 in History” course, which is part of Wilkes’ interdisciplinary 辅修能源研究 and has published articles on the British Empire in post-colonial Africa and British oil policy in the leading up to the 1973 oil crisis.
